Mission

To create a new future for adults recovering from mental illness through the positive power of meaningful work, community, choice, and hope.

What is a clubhouse?

Evergreen Club is a mental health program of Frontier Behavioral Health. Founded in 1981, Evergreen Club is psychosocial and vocational rehabilitation community for adults living with serious mental illness.

As the oldest clubhouse in the western United States to be accredited by Clubhouse International, Evergreen Club follows 37 program standards designed to help members build meaningful lives and relationships.

Based on the Clubhouse Model, Evergreen Club provides members a collaborative, restorative environment where they can access opportunities for employment, housing, education, socialization, work and life skills, and health and wellness.

Evergreen Club believes everyone should have

  • A place to go

  • A place to return

  • Meaningful relationships

  • Meaningful work

Membership

The Evergreen Club serves residents of Spokane County aged 18 and older whose lives have been disrupted by mental illness.

Members and staff work together to promote the well-being and success of each individual at the club. The innovative approach gives members ownership over their recovery: members belong to the clubhouse and the clubhouse belongs to the members.
